eucen will be starting formally its new project for Refining HE apprenticeships with enterprises in Europe on 1st October 2017. The project will last for two years and the partners are seven full members of eucen from seven different countries that have found a national association of enterprises to work with.

Youth unemployment and shortage of skills required by employers needs to be improved. HEIs, VET providers, business, public bodies and learners need to share their best experiences to overcome current challanges and promote work-based learning and apprenticeships.

ApprEnt will work at regional/local level to develop a workshop for tutors both in education and in companies, designed to support them in working with apprentices. Generic prototypes of agreements and training models will be also produced. A set of policy recommendations will be prepare, in order to reach policy makers. And an advocacy pack will be developed for 4 different sectors: educators, businesses, public authorities and learners.
