The WBL4JOB project – Introducing work-based learning in higher education systems of Armenia and Moldova for better employability of graduates, funded under KA2-Capacity Building in Higher Education of the Erasmus+ programme – is bringing together Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and Ministries of Education from Armenia and Moldova, local enterprises and Universities from EU countries. eucen is involved as full partner.

Despite recent reforms in Armenian and Moldavian Higher Education systems in line with the Bologna Process, higher education is currently facing important challenges: high unemployment of graduates, mismatch between skills delivered and those needed by enterprises, weak university-enterprise cooperation, and lack of policy/legal framework for university-enterprise cooperation, especially through Work-Based Learning.

The WBL4JOB project aims to address those challenges. The partnership will work to enhance partnership between enterprises and Higher Education Institutions and to increase graduates’ employability through development and implementation of supporting national policy, legal framework and generic, flexible Apprenticeships Higher Education Model, with the ultimate aim of promoting the work-based learning in Armenia and Moldova.

The project is coordinated by the French University in Armenia. To follow all developments, make sure you visit the project website.
