The first speakers for EUCEN 2023 have been announced!

The call for contributions for EUCEN 2023 in Utrecht is still open until March 1st 2023! The conference will be held from May 31st until June 2nd 2023.

The European conference in the field of University Continuing Education offers a variety of interesting keynote speakers and active sessions focusing on trends, solutions and the latest research in the field of Lifelong Learning. The theme for this conference is “University Continuing Education with Impact: The Power of Connection!” If you register before April 16th, you will receive an early bird discount! During the conference, on Friday morning, European Commission Director-General Joost Korte will speak. Henk Kummeling, the rector magnificus of Utrecht University, and Hester Bijl, the rector magnificus of Leiden University and chair of the LLO catalyst, will also both give a keynote during the conference. The call for contributions is also still open until March 1st 2023! Different types of contributions are requested, such as evidence based examples of successful university continuing education (UCE), as well as, best practices for facilitating UCE within universities. This call for contributions is geared towards researchers, practitioners and teachers, both individuals and organizations.

Consequently, we are looking for three categories of contributions:

1. Research papers including conceptual or empirical work on the topic of the conference; papers will be presented in 20 minutes time slots.
2. Testing ground laboratories where participants can experience concrete innovative UCE/ULLL practices, formats and didactics. The laboratories will have 90 minutes (including an evaluation and reflection part). 
3. Short papers on Organisational and administrative innovations in domains as UCE-leadership, embedding UCE in university primary processes, improving the quality and professionalization of UCE and UCE teachers, connecting academia and society et cetera; short papers will be presented in 20 minutes time slots.
