SolVET will promote the triangle between HE, VET and policy makers, addressing the mismatch of skills and the benefits of flexible learning pathways.

The project will collect implemented practices from all over the world to identify interesting cases and models that can be adapted to the European countries’ context and needs. It will carry out a transversal analysis of the practices identified and map the main findings. The soundness of the analysis will be cross-checked with relevant stakeholders and conditions for moving from VET levels 4-6 into HE will be articulated so they can be transferable from country to country. A “Tool for Moving Forward” will be elaborated, to assist stakeholders in the identification of conditions and opportunities for flexible learning pathways through partnerships already in place or to be built. Policy makers will be engaged in an active dialogue through the schedule of regular policy level meetings, and a final set of policy recommendations will be prepared. The overall aim of the project is to identify different solutions to facilitate access to HE from lower levels (from level 4 of the EQF) and qualifications, whether they are formal or non-formal type.
