eucen‘s General Assembly 2022 was held face-to-face in Budapest, on Friday 10 June 2022 in second Call.

The meeting started presenting the work done in the period 2021-2022 by the President of eucen, Balazs NEMETH, and the Executive Director, Carme ROYO.

The closing of accounts 2021 were approved, and the auditor’s report 2021 and the budget 2023 accepted, all unanimously.

An important part of the meeting was the discussion around the change of Statutes, that had to happen to make the association in line with the new regularions for associations in Belgium. The highlighted change of the Statutes is that, once they are registered, Universities of Applied Sciences and Arts will be able to apply for full membership of eucen. The changes of Statutes were approved unanimosly.

Finally, the last point of the meeting was the election of one new member of the Steering Committee group. Lyndsey EL AMOUD from University College Cork (IE) was unanimouly elected and welcomed to the executive group of the association.
