The Steering Committee of eucen confirmed during its meeting in Budapest (HU), the appointment of Mr Arne Carlsen as Ambassador of eucen in the European Nordic region.
is honoured to announce that Prof (Hon) Dr.h.c.mult. Arne Carlsen has been appointed Ambassador of eucen, to represent and promote the association’s work in the European Nordic region.
His task will be to present and represent eucen in that area and collect impressions and requests related to continuing education from HE institutions and feed them back to the Steering Committee.
Mr Arne Carlsen has held different roles in adult and continuing education such as Rector of the Nordic Folk Academi, Director of the International Research Policy Office at the Danish School of Education of Aarhus University and more recenlty Director of the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning.
