The MAS in Science, Technology and Policy is designed for graduates of natural science or engineering disciplines (including medicine, mathematics, and architecture) who seek a career where strong skills in policy analysis and management are important. This one-year full-time (or two-year part-time) program will develop students' ability to situate scientific and engineering knowledge within a broader social, economic, and political context.
It will also build skills to critically analyze policy-making institutions and processes, assess policy options, manage policy implementation, and evaluate the impact of policies. Such skills are in particularly high demand in government agencies, large technology and life sciences firms, consulting firms, and NGOs.
