Danube University Krems invites applications for a Professorship in University Research and University Development
Danube University Krems is Europe's leading university for continuing education. As the only public university for continuing education in the German-speaking area it specialises in upskilling programmes for working persons and, in teaching and research, is engaged in tackling current and future social challenges. Currently around 8,000 students from more than 90 countries are enrolled in Master's studies and brief programmes offered parallel to employment.
At Danube University Krems the following vacancy needs to be filled:
Professorship in University Research and University Development as defined in Section 98 of the Austrian Universities Act [Universitätsgesetz/UG] 2002
38.5 hours/week
The advertised professorship is established at the Department for Continuing Education Research and Education Technologies at the Faculty of Education, Arts and Architecture.
The Department for Continuing Education Research and Education Technologies is engaged in research and teaching at the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary interface between teaching, technologies and society in the context of global and digital transformation. Research and teaching focuses on universities in Austria and abroad with reference to their positioning, organisation, development, their fields of work and their requirements, as well as their organisational structures. The department creates connections between applied research and work-orientated continuing education.
