RE is an environmental-psychological approach that examines the relation between the individual and the environment. If something has been broken or unsettled, it can be restored into equilibrium through restorative measures (e.g. restorative justice, creative economy, sustainable environmental technology, etc). There are many ways to apply restorative education to learning in various social, individual and communal problem situations.
