URGENT Call for Experts in Food Safety

EUCEN is currently looking for an expert in Food Safety from your country to collaborate in one of our projects (see the official call below).

Dolceta (www.dolceta.eu) is an interactive web-based consumer education tool financed by the European Commission. The website has been set up in 21 languages and 27 different versions for each EU Member State and consists of different modules on consumer rights, financial literacy and services, product safety, sustainable consumption and food safety. The module on food safety is to be evaluated before it is put in the public domain and so not yet visible without a password.

CALL FOR EXTERNAL EVALUATORS/EXPERTS IN FOOD SAFETY

Are you an expert in food safety?

EUCEN – the European Association for University Lifelong Learning – is looking for collaborators to evaluate the recently developed new module on Food Safety, as part of DOLCETA (www.dolceta.eu), an interactive web-based consumer education tool financed by the European Commission. The website has been set up in 21 languages and 27 different versions for each EU Member State and consists of different modules on consumer rights, financial literacy and services, product safety, sustainable consumption and food safety. [The module on food safety is to be evaluated before it is put in the public domain and so not yet visible without a password.]

Evaluation of the Food Safety module will require approximately 2 days of paid work spread over a period of 2 weeks maximum between 14 and 31 January; to be reported before the end of January 2011.

The evaluator should be an expert in food safety and a native speaker of [country]. The evaluator will have to deliver an evaluation report in English; therefore proficiency in English is an obligatory requirement.
