The 29th eucen European Conference was held in April 2005 in Bergen (NO). 

The Conference aimed to bring lifelong learning back onto the agenda of the Bologna Process. It addressed the challenges of higher education institutions in providing lifelong learning opportunities for all and designing targeted professional development programmes.
